i go by the alias of coffee mainly because i'm ashamed of the graveyard of RP blogs i've left behind. i am 20+ and my first language is not english. i am currently doing a post-graduation on illustration meaning i have a lot of drawings i need to get done and that my activity levels on this blog highly depend on me being a procrastinating trashcan.

this is a selective blog. i don't always follow back but that doesn't in any way mean i dislike you or the contents found in your blog. i mainly follow blogs i can see lecter interacting with. i absolutely love OCs and will likely follow as long as there's enough available information on them and do enjoy interacting with different fandoms. i must warn you though i'm not up-to-date / have never watched most of the popular shows people discuss here on tumblr ( supernatural, dr. who, ouat, teen wolf, etc. )

i will block non-RP blogs. unless i am familiar with the person running them i do not feel comfortable having people outside the RP community reblogging my edits / writing material. i do not follow blogs based on youtubers / celebrities. i would not advise anyone under the age of 16 to follow this blog.

nsfw / triggering

the subjects presented in hannibal include, but are not limited to: mental illness, violence, gore, abuse and drug use. i will tag all threads that get too explicit. i don't usually post graphic imagery and I don't think you'll ever find anything that may SHOCK an average hannibal series / movie / book fan.

hate / drama

i don't participate in tumblr drama nor do i particularly care for it. i will unfollow people who fuel drama or have a tendency to vague blog. roleplaying is a fun creative outlet for me. that being said if you dislike the content found within this blog, please, feel free to unfollow. last thing i want is to make anyone feel uncomfortable.

i welcome constructive criticism and my IM is always open to mutuals, but i will not publish or respond to rude anonymous asks.

portrayal

this blog takes inspiration mainly from NBC'S HANNIBAL but may also include some MOVIE ELEMENTS. sadly i have yet to finish reading thomas harris' work.

i completely understand if people are unhappy with the tv series. and with a possible season 4 on the way i am both excited and very fearful. there might be some CANON-DIVERGENT aspects to be found within this blog. i will never IMPOSE ANY SHIPS on you, and i hope you may do the same for me. people are free to interpret relationship dynamics in different ways and they're not all necessarily romantic within the NBC universe.

I LOVE MEMES and i think they're an excellent way for characters to interact without going through the whole awkward introduction phase. PRE-SERIES EVENTS // Dr. Lecter has yet to be introduced to Jack Crawford by Alana Bloom. In this verse Hannibal Lecter has recently abandoned his former profession as a surgeon to become a psychiatrist. It's refreshing to start over. His office's door is always open to new patients.

SEASON 1 //; Verse in which Dr. Hannibal Lecter has initiated his work with the FBI while still maintaining his position as a respected psychiatrist. His unethical dishes are still consumed and flattered and although his gruesome practices have been at play for a very long time, his secret is still well hidden from the public and those closest to him.

IF I HAD A VOICE I WOULD SING

SEASON 2 // Verse in which Hannibal incriminates Will Graham, forcing the special agent to take credit for the gruesome murders which they had once investigated together. But as time goes by more people have begun to wonder if Lecter really is just a concerned doctor or a monster in man's skin.

AFTER THE NIGHT WHEN I WAKE UP

SEASON 3 : PART I // Verse in which Hannibal Lecter has managed to escape to hide in Italy with Bedelia Du Maurier. Assuming a fake identity and working as a curator proves to be rather easy. Slowly it starts to feel like home again. But his gruesome practices continue and as Lecter loses his “murdering ethical code” more eyes and ears turn to him. The manhunt begins once again.

SEASON 3 : PART II // Verse in which Hannibal has surrendered to the FBI. He is incarcerated in Baltimore's State Hospital for the Criminally Insane under Dr. Alana Bloom’s care. The media refer to him as Hannibal the Cannibal. He is allowed very few freedoms in his new home but still, Lecter always finds a way to keep himself entertained.

POST-SEASON 3 // After Will Graham pulled Hannibal Lecter into what was thought to be certain death, the serial killer somehow managed to survive the fall and dragged the special agent back to safe land. Authorities are currently looking for both of them, but Lecter will make sure Will Graham doesn't spoil their new-found freedom.
